  • When do we get our tickets?
    Wristbands: Physical tickets, in the form of wristbands, will start shipping to your address prior to September 18. We will email all ticket buyers with shipment information once wristbands have shipped. Digital tickets/QR code: With Digital Delivery your tickets are emailed straight to your email address. Make sure to have your phone fully charged when you arrive at RushSouth Fest! Please note: Digital passes are sometimes not available to send until closer to the event.   • What passes do I need for the Music Festival?
    Everyone needs a GA, VIP, or VIP+ festival pass.
  • Can I upgrade my ticket?
    Of course! Please contact Frontgate Tickets and they can help you, if there are remaining VIP or VIP+ tickets.
  • Will you guys be selling single day passes?
    Yes! You can purchase tickets for GA, VIP or VIP+ for single days.
  • I purchased a ticket from a friend/ it was gifted to me. Will this be a problem?
    No, but if you do sell your ticket to another customer, you will need to send them your QR code via email.
  • Is there any way to cancel my order or get a refund?
    All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. If you sell your festival pass to another customer, you will need to send them your QR code via email.
  • What about parking?
    Please refer to the Festival Map and Uptown Columbus Parking Map for parking locations.
  • Do I need to bring an ID to prove that I am 21 for the bar?
    Yes, you need to bring a valid state photo id or passport.
  • Can I leave the festival and come back?
    Yes, all guests are allowed re-entry into the festival. You must scan in and out with your ticket each time.
  • When can we arrive to the festival?
    Free Festival begins at 10AM on Saturday and Sunday Music Festival gates open at 2PM on Saturday and Sunday
  • When does the music start?
    Artists will go on at 3:00PM on various stages!
  • Will set times be released at any point before the festival?
    Yes, keep an eye out for them on social media the week before the festival!
  • Is everything within walking distance?
    Yep - the festival grounds are really beautiful AND easily walkable from any point in Uptown Columbus.
  • Are children allowed at RushSouth Fest?
    Yes, but to be admitted into the Music Festival space, everyone must have a virtual ticket
  • Am I allowed to bring a pet to the event?
    Your furry family members will need to stay at home. *Service animals with proper paperwork and vests are allowed* Please email with your pets information before arriving at the festival. Please note that animals may NOT be left at the parking lot. If they are found - proper steps will be taken with the local authorities.
  • Can I volunteer at RushSouth Fest?
    Yes, we value the support of volunteers to help us make the event a success. Find details on how to become a volunteer here!
  • Can we bring in alcohol?
    No, alcohol will be for sale at the festival.
    ALL bags will be searched before entry. Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6" x 9" or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket. All other bags larger than 6" x 9" must be smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" and clear.
  • Can we bring in outside food?
    We will have plenty of food vendors available on site but outside food is permitted in the free festival grounds. Please note outside food will not be permitted inside the music festival area.
  • Prohibited Items
    NO Projectiles or Explosives or Fireworks NO Knives / Weapons Etc. Regardless of Permit NO Drones NO Instruments NO Chains / Chain Wallets NO Outside Food & Beverages NO Lawn Chairs or Chairs NO Tents NO Video Cameras (Large) Professional Recording Devices NO Audio Recording Devices NO Professional Cameras NO Stuffed Animals NO Pets (Service Dogs Accepted) NO Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia NO Umbrellas NO Bikes/Skateboards NO Laser Pointers NO Coolers NO Liquids NO Balloons, Balls, Inflatables NO Unauthorized/Unlicensed Vending NO Unauthorized Solicitations, Handbills, Sampling, Give-Aways, Etc. NO Disposable Containers NO Glass or Glass Containers of Any Kind NO Large backpacks/bags.
  • When does the free festival begin?
    10:00 AM
  • Do I need to buy tickets for the vendor village?
    No, the vendor village, including the Zen Zone are free for entry.
  • When and where will the kayaking take place?
    The hub for the ICF World Championship will be on Waveshaper Island, less than 0.5 miles from the main stage, and take place from October 9, 2023 - October 14, 2023.
  • When are the competition times?
    Be on the lookout for competition times on social media: @rushsouthfest and @icfworldchampionship
  • Is the competition free?
    Yes! The competition is free to attend and has easy access to the vendor village to enjoy all of the food and beverages.
  • Where and when does the TriColumbus Adventure Race begin?
    The race starts at 9am at Brickyard Bike Co. - 507 Dillingham St. Phenix City, AL. Register here!
  • When does the ZenZone open?
    The ZenZone opens at 10:00 AM when free festival gates open. The ZenZone is designed to help you relax, connect with yourself, and find inner peace. We have something for everyone - from Alee Link's yoga class, Just Breathe's kids yoga, chair massages, plus so much more. Come explore their tea bar, take part in mindful activities and crafts for kids, enjoy meditative creative experiences for adults and children, or browse the wellness shop featuring CBD, crystals, incense, tea, botanics, spiritual books, and RFY Swag.
